After lunch, we decided to take free shuttle bus to Westin Chosun hotel, located at small DongBaek island. Most of other delegates were there, to join a gala dinner provided by A.....N. Of course, we decided not to join them:-P Walking around in surrounding hotel's area seem more appealing ;-). So we start to stroll around the park, following the pathway that lead to APEC's house. ZH and ER went into APEC's house. On the other hand, NL, AA and I took a different route and did not enter the house. We saw a white lighthouse near by the house and went there. The lighthouse was located by the ocean. From there we could see the blue sea with Gwangan Bridge not so far from sight. Unfortunately we didnt have opportunity to watch the bridge glowing at night. There were a lot of people doing the afternoon's walk like us. No wonder, the park with its trees and flowers was just so refreshing. Add the beautifull ocean view, and that's all you need. Not only tourists, some of them are senior citizens, and they bring something to eat on their hand. I managed to notice the food, turned out to be sliced cucumbers. What a healthy food! :-). As usual, the route was hike and there were so many steps, but I think I already get used to it ;-). Beside, I'm far more younger then all of those senior citizens, aren't I? ;-)
We also spotted a little mermaid sculpture. Photograph? Of course :-P . Too bad that I didnt know any stories about the sculpture. Later, I'll find out that it was also known as yellow jade princess. But that's all I knew. Wonder if the other little mermaid sculpture located in Denmark would appear like this one. (Need to go there to find out myself :-P Aamiin)
At the end of the pathway, we finaly arrived at the yellow sandy beach, the Haeundae beach, located at the backyard of Westin Chosun hotel. Took some photos, and try to contact ZH and ER. After some efforts without any results, (perhaps due to "broken" signal), we concluded that they might have find their way back home. We took the last bus and headed back to our hotel. And nope, that was not the end of our journey that day. We continued to walk around Seomyeon Underground Shopping area. And guess what, we found Zh and Er there! What a small world and what a same thought we had! :-P
I bought 2 pieces of little trench coats for my daughters in one of the shops there. One in bright pink colour for Allyssa, and the other in nude pink colour for Audra. It's a little bit pricey for kids wear, but at least they were "made in korea". :-P
And when we finaly reached our hotel, the sun had gone and my legs were so so very very tired. Ok, enough for today.
